So this was our last break, and we spent it in Dallas with as much family as possible.
Grandma and Grandpa gave Luca a pedal truck as an early
2nd Birthday present, but he also had to test drive
Cousin Harper's new sidewinder.
First on our agenda was getting a haircut. Luca barely noticed
Miss Ginger wielding scissors while he played with a box of toys.

Of course, the highlight was lots of one-on-one time
with all four grandparents.

We went to the Dallas Aquarium with Lollie and Opa.
Luca was awed by feeding time in the shark tank tunnel.

We went to the Dallas Museum of Art with Grandma for their
music-themed kids' morning. In the craft room, Luca was more
excited
about using scissors than making his shaker (so no
pictures to show), and he loved running around with
streamers
and bells during the courtyard dance party.
We had a mini early birthday celebration.
Uncle Ross and Aunt Lisa sent a singing tractor, too.
Hey, Zia Mia, whacha doin?
Throughout the whole trip, Luca was most fascinated
by Cousin Harper (4.5y)...
...and the dogs (especially Izzy and Emmy).
Emmy even let him walk her to see the ducks.
